Today we had a family member have a mental health crisis. He was on a rant for hours, he then ended up calling the cops on himself (idk why) the police came talked to his mom and him. They determined he didn’t need to be taken in for a 5150.
Not even an hour later he goes off on his mom again and ends up hitting her. His mom doesn’t want to call the police on him because she’s “scared of what can happen to him in jail”
He is always saying he’s going to kill himself. That wasn’t enough because the police asked him and of course he lied and acted like nothing was going on.
I have video of him hitting this mom.
What else can be done. I’m over it if it was up to me I’d call the cops. He thinks he’s untouchable and since the cops didn’t do anything to him I KNOW things are going to escalate
