Has weight lifting effected anyone’s metal health negatively?

So I'd like to start off by saying that I am in therapy but I wanted to know other peoples experiences.

A few months ago I (30m) was dealing with a breakup and all the wonderful anxiety and depression that ensues. It's always been an issue but the break up exasperated it tenfold and I stopped sleeping. So after a few sleepless nights I had an emergency meeting with my PCP and asked to be put on mirtazapine. I was prescribed 7.5 mg and decided to split the pills so that I was only taking 3.75.

The drug did wonders for my sleep. The only issue is the drug causes weight gain and I was terrified of putting on weight. So I decided since I was getting a good nights sleep, I figured I'd join a gym. I've been going for about 4 or 5 months now and I've seen incredible results. Doubling my bench, squat, deadlift and haven't gained any weight from the mirtz. It seems to be doing wonders for my anxiety and depression. Honestly, I have felt the greatest I have in years. Expect for one caveat, I anger significantly easier. I constantly feel the heat of frustration boiling up in my skull. I never know what'll set me off. Before anyone asks – no, I am not taking any peds. I'm only on whey, creatine and half of the lowest prescribed does of mirtz. I was curios if anyone else has had a similar experience and how they managed to deal with it. Thanks.
