Have any of you had success with improving issues of cognitive decline due to mental health?

Hey everyone. I have persistent depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder and have had these for literal years. Am mid twenties and the cognitive effects of long term mental illness are kicking my ass. I was wondering if any of you, or anyone you know, has had any luck with strategies to improve cognitive function that's been destroyed by depression? Any tips at all? I googled it but I would prefer person to person discussion. Thanks to all of you!
