Wondering if I have schizophrenia
Hello just posting on this community to get advice and the view from people with schizophrenia.
Let me properly state all the necessary information
I am 22 has social anxiety and untreated ocd for God knows how long ( longer than 4 years that's I know) it is mainly due to my traumatic past.
This April i finally got the courage to visit a psychiatrist as I already knew ,psychiatrist diagnosed me with ocd, depression ,and social anxiety. From last 3 months i am on medications ( sertaline and clomipramine also recently added mood stabilizer)
But the problem is my mental health is getting worse my ocd is constant 24/7 active , my memory is shit ,my sleep scheduled is fucked my confidence is at all time low also have anger issues. During my last visit to psychiatrist he told me i also have something that he couldn't diagnose yet as ocd cannot go to the levels I have gone through while doing my rituals. So i am wondering if I have schizophrenia or not cos I also have some related symptoms with it . First of all the hallucinations like atleast 4-5 times a day I like saw shadow passing like it's a bug or something or i just think I saw a insect here there but there's nothing there i also like see shadows through the side of my eyes. I also am very sensitive regarding my skin as I do feel a lot of times like bug crawling on my skin etc.i also connect voices like finds some sort of pattern there and literally consider it as a whole different sound. I also have vivid dreams like sometimes I think what I happened in dreams happened but while discussing with my family I got to know that I just dreamt about that i have messed up memory can't even trust my memory. I am also frustrated, confused and not satisfied in my life.
Summary: Need advice whether i have schizophrenia or not
