when i went to india i was fascinated by pranayama learning about the didferent energies in the body and how that manifests through being passive or in fight/flight and how you can change it with specific breathing techniques for someone who was fascinated with breathwork and have different methods such as wim hof or rebirthing it was so fascinating to hear about how the yogis have been practising this for thousands and thousands of years breath is magic conscious breathing is on another level when you learn more about the body at an anatomy level it makes perfect sense to me our brain is connected to every single cell in the body if we can go to the gym and get strong biceps doing exercise why wouldn’t we be able to strengthen our muscles ability to receive prana. improve our endurance so that we can take our body to levels we didn’t know existed don’t worry about how long it would take start breathing into your belly through your nose today do it again tomorrow and before you know it you’ll be a pro one foot in front of the other time feels slow time also feels fast do what you want to do anyway set yourself up for a better tomorrow #meditation #thoughts #anxiety #depression #ptsd #cptsd #mentalhealth #yogfit #yoga #mindset #healing #awareness #howto
