I’ve been practicing this ever since my YTTC in India, and it’s been a game-changer! 🌟 Jal Neti is a super simple yet powerful Kriya Yoga technique where you cleanse your nasal passages with lukewarm saline water. 🌊 This clears out all the gunk, helping you breathe easy and setting the stage for some deep pranayama. Pranayama is all about boosting your life energy (prana) through breath control: 🔥Kapalabhati: Quick, forceful breaths that leave you feeling energized and refreshed. 🪷Nadi Shodhana: Alternate nostril breathing that balances your nervous system and calms your mind. 🌳Anulom Vilom: A similar practice but with different lengths of internal and external breath retention that promotes mental clarity and emotional balance. Doing these on an empty stomach in the morning? Trust me, it’s the best way to start your day.
