How do I stop making up scenarios of my past that upset me

I literally am so anxious all the time because of this issue. I don’t even know how I developed this habit but it is intefering with my life.

Scenarios like “friends turned foe”, “ex leading her life” “my academics”. Idek they are so random. I am just sitting working on my table and bam suddenly I remember something that happened and I start making scenarios in my head and get anxious. I even dream

I fear that I will take some action that will lead to fucking up my life when everything is going well. This anxiety always intereferes with my relation with my family as I am always irritated thinking about something. Please help me.
