Comment ‘BREATH’ and I’ll send you a link to my free breathwork class THE HOW👇🏽 Day 14 of 30 days to manage your emotions by changing your breath. Today’s emotion: SHAME Sometimes being seated in a meditation can really bring out intense emotions that we might be ignoring within ourselves. Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self and one of my fave somatic practices to release any intense feeling like shame is to shake. Shaking is great for: – Bringing suppressed emotions and underlying feelings to the surface – Processing these emotions – Releasing built up physical tension – Resetting your nervous system – Rebalancing your body’s response to the feeling of shame or the situations that bring about those feelings – Rapidly intervening to interrupt the cycle of negative thoughts and feelings associated with shame How to: • Start standing and put some FUNKY music on • Slowly start shaking your arms and hands • Bring the shaking movement to other parts of your body • Take your time and don’t rush ✅save it so you remember to come back when you need it ✅share it with someone who needs this reminder ✅follow for the rest of the 30 day challenge Who’s in? #thiswillbeyourtherapy #breathworkhealing #breathworkcoach #yoga #indianyogateacher #pranayama #breathwork #somatichealing
