Ok, so, every time I go to the gym (great gym, love, cool people, cool coaches), coach tells me that I am tense. She tells me to relax, to breathe, and I try to. I relax for some time. If I am tense and anxious, she tells me that my punches go all over the place and that I am not looking at the people's face when punching or kicking. I don't know what's wrong with me. I am just anxious. I started wearing a mouth guard during normal classes so that I stop grinding my teeth and tensing my jaws by moving the lower jaw forward. I feel like I keep pissing her off by having her correct me every time. My movements are also exaggerated, be it rolls or simple leg movements in movements. So, how do you deal with anxiety? I used to take pills for my head but was advised to stop taking them as the continuous intake of pills may mess with my head in the long run.
