After 6 years of therapy and 9 modalities should I keep trying more modalities or should I try something else? Therapy has helped me gain insight/understanding and some stability but not healed just stuck and managing.
Issues- childhood physical abuse/struggling to adjust to a new country at a young age.
Trauma- diminish myself in order to avoid being beaten, screamed at or yell at by people. Never happens but my brain is stuck in the past.
Need to establish a sense of safety before this trauma can be fully releases. How that is achieved and done is the difficult part.
