TDLR; Sibling keeps seeing things and I just want to know if it has something to do with her mental health or any potential mental health disorders/illnesses
I’m unsure if my sister’s hallucinations or whatever she’s seeing associated with her mental health but I’m just going to ask here since I don’t know where else to go.
I have a younger sister who constantly see things, whether it’s in the corner of her eye or just directly looking at them. She tells me they look like black figures or just something you’d think of a stereotypical scary monster or ghost.
It’s concerning since she told me she had these for over a month (The first sighting was about a year ago but it’s more consistent now). We don’t remember or know what happened the day it started so we can’t make assumptions on that. Though with this, I didn’t really do anything except just come to her whenever she’s seeing things cause she says when someone’s there, they disappear, but now, they don’t, even if I’m there with her.
I didn’t do anything since I didn’t know who to ask or where to go so I just left it off as that until today. She apparently was twitching and stuff and when she was done she told me she saw something before she began doing that. I’m honestly concerned for her and I don’t know if it has something to do with any mental illnesses or disorders so I’m asking here if any of you guys know what it is and what can be done about this.
We would tell our parents but they’d either brush it off or they’ll just call us crazy.
