Someone I know is mentally decorating exponentially

I recently came across a small creator on IG. I guess they’re trying their hand at content creation or something since they uploaded a reel today. I got the reel randomly on my explore page and thought it was pretty cool and interesting with what they were doing so I made this second account to promote their content on the appropriate subreddit. Out of curiosity I DMed them and told them how I found their reel very cool and unique. They were very grateful and thankful telling me how it’s been so long since they’ve heard nice things and that my one simple compliment meant so much to them. I obviously felt very nice and told them to upload more and keep going but they told me how they may not considering their online presence was shattered by a group of friends they once had and they were trying something new here but it didn’t pan out the way they expected. Idk why but I felt really bad for them after this and mind you this person wasn’t self loathing or trying to indulge in pity. I mean they won’t even open up and I completely understand I’m a stranger and they don’t need to. Is there anything I can do to help them? Should I do anything to help them? I’ve dealt with a lot of demotivation and loneliness at some point in my life so I feel like the need to help someone when I see them going thrive something similar. Sorry for the long rant. It’s weird but so is the internet I guess.
